ERNESTO URBANO

Received the Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 1999, and the PhD in biomedical engineering in 2003.
At present, he is a research fellow at the Università degli Studi di Bologna and LUCE’s R&D division manager.
The main research interests include:
- Functional Electrical Stimulation for motion recovery in spinal cord injury and stroke patients.
- Rehabilitation of plegic patients through Surface Functional Electrical Stimulation
- Development of innovative devices and methods for human movement analysis and rehabilitation;
